Atanian Art Center was founded in September of 1994 in Los Angeles by renowned Artist and Professor Vladimir Atanian. The school specializes in teaching drawing, painting, sculpting, and various types of design programs; computer graphics, fashion, and cartoon animation. The Board of Educators at Atanian Art Center are trained professionals who provide quality tutorship in all subjects and specialties.
The main goal of the Art Center is to give children an overall artistic education and provide methods for use in various media such as pencils, watercolors, tempera, ink, gouache and clay. The Center also helps college bound students to form their portfolios, an essential part for the admission process to art schools and the work field. Many of our former graduates now continue their education at some of the best art colleges and universities in the USA and work in professional art fields.
At Atanian Art Center there is never any pressure for the students to become professional artists, painting only. There are many forms of art in the world that provide new perspectives for our students. We encourage them to explore all fields and to create in the medium and style that will generate their creative identities.
